Just a quick note to let you know how pleased we 8re with your ALGAE-X model LGX 3000 unit we had installed aboard the 100' AZlMUT M/Y MELIMAR. MELlMAR is powered with a pair of MTU V 16 2000's, with a cruising speed in excess of 20 knots.

Prior to the installation, the fuel consumption was approximately 120 gallons per hour at 1900 RPM' S. Since adding the unit, we have reduced fuel consumption to approximately 100 gallons per hour at the same RPM. 

While the fuel savings alone have more than paid for the unit, I believe the most impressive feature of this fuel unit Is the fact that we have not needed to change the first fuel filter during the six month charter season which began in May. After looking at all eight Racors, I would be comfortable running several more months before replacing any filters. In this business, it's nice to know that fuel problems are one issue we don't have to be concerned with.
