Nordic Tugs

We really enjoy writing our vendors and expressing our complete satisfaction with their products we are installing on our Nordic Tugs. Unfortunately most of our correspondence deals with problems our customers are experiencing or filing warranty claims on the products. 

If the opening paragraph of this letter has not boggled your mind, please accept my thanks for selling us a product that our customers have been praising in their letters of recommendation for Algae-X. We assume the name Algae-X means algae has been X'd out of the diesel fuel before it reaches our primary engine and generators. This is what our customers have been saying about your product. If it has some other meaning you need to let us know because while I teach the correct spelling of ALGAE-X I may as well tell them what it means. 

Putting all the elementary words aside, we highly recommend Algae-X on diesel engines and unless they turn to dust and create big problems for us we will continue to install them on our Nordic Tugs. We've never experienced an engine failure due to bad fuel since we began installing this equipment on our boats. Most of our owners go offshore quite a bit with single screw engines and the last thing we need is the embarrassment of having one of our boats towed from the Gulf Stream or beyond. We pride ourselves on operating on the lead end of a towline instead of the rear end.

Feel free to use this letter as an endorsement of your product to everyone but our competitors. ALGAE-X just might be the reason our boats are rated best in class. I hope its not because we sell our boats at such low prices.

Our new Nordic 42 will be shown at the Chesapeake Bay Spring Boat and Yacht Expo April 22-25th at Bay Bridge Marina, Kent Island, MD. This boat has your Algae-X equipment installed on it and we’d love an excuse to have other boat manufacturers crawl around in our engine room to observe real craftsmanship at work.
